What is a bus silencer?
As per Wikipedia’s simple description, an exhaust system is usually piping used to guide reaction exhaust gases away from a controlled combustion inside a vehicle’s engine. The entire system conveys burnt gases from the engine and includes one or more exhaust pipes. The function of a bus silencer is to cool the exhaust gases and reduce the noise of outgoing gases. The exhaust gases must be released with minimum restriction.
Most Euro 4 and 5 vehicles use AdBlue technology for emissions compliance.
